FAQ

How Do I Volunteer?

If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with leukemia and would like to volunteer for our soup process protocol, please contact us via email at support@letsbeatleukemia.org or use our website volunteer form.

How Long is the Process?

The time frames below are based on observations of prior volunteers and optimized and adjusted to new research and discoveries. However, each volunteer’s process and estimated recovery time frame may vary according to their type of leukemia, progression, medical history, physical condition, past treatments, along with various other factors.

The active process takes only 9 days, which consists of consuming 3 servings of the soup per day. The remaining schedule will be primarily observational and performing tests to confirm positive progression. Overall, the process towards desired results is estimated to be 30-90 days.

Active Process: 3 Servings/Day for 9 Days
Volume per serving: 140ml (About 1 bowl)
Licensed medical care staff will be present throughout the process for volunteers' safety

HOW LONG BEFORE I SEE RESULTS?

Each volunteer’s results and estimated recovery time frame will vary depending on their leukemia progression, medical history, physical condition, past treatments, along with various other factors. The estimated time frames below is based on observations of prior volunteers.

Estimated time frame to see initial results: 3-9 Days
Estimated time frame of recovery: 30-90 Days

Is The Soup Safe?

The soup is no different from any ordinary soup you would consume in your daily life. It is made from all-natural ingredients: herbs, plants, fruits, vegetables, and non-GMO poultry. It contains no harmful substances or artificial ingredients and is completely safe for consumption on day to day basis or as a dietary supplement.

is The Soup Certified?

We have conducted food safety testings and certifications at SGS Laboratories, an internationally accredited food safety testing facility, to ensure that the soup is completely safe for consumption. The tests were performed in accordance with FDA food safety and labeling standards and the results confirmed that the soup contains no harmful substances of any kind and can be safely consumed.

CAN I try this Concurrently With Other Treatments Such As chemotherapy?

While the soup is completely safe to consume with other treatments and may even reduce side-effects of chemo treatments, for the purposes of the study, we are only accepting volunteers that are not currently receiving any medication or treatment for leukemia. In order for volunteers currently receiving medication or treatment for leukemia to participate in the study, volunteers must be willing to discontinue all other medications and treatments for leukemia for at least a few days. Participating in the soup process protocol will take less than 9 days to see initial positive results. Therefore, if volunteers observe less than expected initial results, volunteers can return to conventional treatments with little time loss and will not delay conventional treatment timelines. Volunteers may also choose to discontinue the soup process protocol at any time and is completely safe to return to conventional treatments.

We understand volunteers may not want to risk discontinuing their current therapies to volunteer for the soup process protocol, so if you are already receiving treatments but would also like to try the soup process simultaneously, please contact us and we will provide you with other potential options.

It is Safe to GO BACK TO CHEMOTHERAPY or other TreatmentS After Trying the Soup?

To date, the soup has helped 7 out of 7 volunteers reach remission and has not yet been unsuccessful. However, the answer is yes, it is completely safe to return to conventional treatments after consuming the soup. The soup does not negatively harm your body whatsoever and will not escalate leukemia progression. It might be easier to just view the soup as an ordinary all-natural and organic soup that may be consume at any time, healthy or sick. Aside from the varying ingredients and the unfamiliar herbal taste, the soup is no different from consuming organic chicken soup.

IS It FDA APPROVED?

Officially, the soup is a natural dietary supplement, not a medical treatment. So, it is not a medically-approved drug by the FDA. The FDA drug-approval process is generally required for chemically/artificially manufactured drugs. Natural dietary supplements do not require FDA medical-approval and can be consumed safely without approval.

However, we have conducted food safety testings and certifications at internationally accredited food safety testing facilities to ensure that the soup is completely safe for consumption. The tests were performed in accordance with FDA food safety and labeling standards and the results confirmed that the soup contains no harmful substances of any kind and can be safely consumed.

How Does It Work?

Phase 1: Triggering & Identification (1 to 2 days)
With the help of commensal bacteria, the herbal medicinal ingredients will enhance the immune system through a series of signals that will slightly activate gut memory immune cells. These gut memory immune cells will send activating alarm signals to activate blood memory immune cells. After activation and further consumption of the herbal medicine, these signals will strengthen and multiply to strengthen various signals sent to other immune cells to search for leukemia cells in the body.

Phase 2: Staging & Reprogramming (3 to 9 days)
Once leukemia cells are found, messenger cells will send a series of signals to further the proliferation of the memory immune cells and increase signal intensity. This will notify the immune system to begin sending, producing, and staging appropriate signals and immune cells such as stem cells (immature cells) in order for these cells to combat or replaced leukemia cells with new reprogrammed healthy cells once the stem cells are signaled to mature.

Phase 3: Killing Leukemia & Removal (9-30 Days)
Once the signal from the memory immune cells dissipates, this will allow the innate immune system to return to its normal functional state. The innate immune system will then signal the newly programmed stem cells with their new ability to identify and kill leukemia cells to mature into their designated cells. Once these cells mature, killer cells will kill marked and unmarked leukemia cells and other cells will take care of the waste products.

Phase 4: Immunization & Recovery (30 to 90 days)
These newly programed cells can now identify leukemia cells so even if the initial wave of killer cells did not eradicate all leukemia cells another wave of killer cells will be able to finish the task. So even leukemia relapses in the future these cells will be able to immediately identify and kill them, thus immunizing the body of leukemia. After the stem cells mature, the immune system will slowly adjust the number of blood cells according to the needs of the immune system, gradually returning the immune system to a normal healthy state with healthy blood cell counts.

WILL IT HURT? ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

No, it will not hurt nor will it cause any side effects. However, some volunteers have expressed slight bone/joint pain during the healing and recovery process, which is completely normal. After drinking the soup, your body will begin extensive blood production and this rapid production of blood and stem cells in your bone marrow, a process called hematopoiesis, is likely to cause the slight bone and joint pain. However, the occurrence of the slight bone/joint pain is dependent on each volunteer’s leukemia progression and may vary.

HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST?

Participating in our research study will cost volunteers nothing but thier time and commitment. However, we do encourage volunteers to make a donation to our cause and help us continue our mission. Donations will go towards all costs associated with providing the soup process protocol to future volunteers diagnosed with leukemia. Every $6000 in donations received will go towards all costs of providing the soup process protocol to an additional leukemia sufferer. Volunteers will receive the following:

  • Blood tests performed at accredited hospitals and laboratories

  • Data processing and collection for the patient

  • Bedside services from licensed medical caregiver

  • Ingredients, labor, and associated costs of the supplement

  • Medical research and analysis for each patient’s data

  • Research equipment and other equipment required for the patients

  • Film and photography documentation throughout regimen (Optional based on volunteer’s discretion)

  • Local transportation (Optional based on volunteer’s discretion)

  • Not included our budget are the travel expenses (airfare, lodging, & meals) for the volunteers and/or accompanying family.

Can I Participate From Home?

If you would rather participate from the comfort of your own home or location, we have setup an alternative mailing/self-monitoring option. For details on the self-monitoring option please contact the LBL team for more information.

WHAT IF DOESN’T WORK?

To date, the supplement has helped 7 out of 7 people reach remission and has not yet been unsuccessful. Throughout the process, will be monitoring your health conditions and suggesting a course of action based on your progress and medical data. If you feel that the soup process is showing less than expected results or you simply feel uncomfortable continuing, you can decide to discontinue at any time. It would be recommended to consult your doctor on all your potential options and make an informed decision whether you would like to discontinue the soup process and/or go back to conventional treatments. We will provide recommendations, suggestions and all the support possible but your course of action is solely yours to determine. We cannot promise nor guarantee your recovery as every person's condition is different and we cannot control the many conditional factors of each case. The responsibility is yours to decide if this is the right choice for you.
